Quigley's Pint And Plate, 257 Willbrook Blvd, Pawleys Island, Mingo Shopping Center (843) 237-7010
This place gets great reviews! I am a fan! They have a wonderful menu consisting of lowcountry inspired comfort food with a variety of prices ranging from 9$-25$. It is the only microbrewery within Pawleys Island, and their beer is a must do if you are a hops fan. Happy Hour Daily from 4pm to 7pm in the bar, on Mondays Happy hour extends throughout the restaurant. Tuesdays seem to be quite busy lately, as their Tuesday Team Trivia and Ten Buck Tuesday. seems to be a hit. We have been going to Quigley's consistently for the past 6 years and have many friends including the staff, that make it much more fun & family friendly. The children's menu does have some healthier choices than other typical children's menus, like the grilled chicken sandwich.
La Playa Mexican Cantina 10185 Ocean Highway, Pawleys Island (843) 235-4013
view reviews here La Playa has a flare for making mexican/latin/cuban/caribbean food fuse together quite well. It is not your typical mexican food on a plate, but instead there are such creations and wonderful flavors. It is definitely worth a try. The lunch menu is a good way to try things out as it is a little cheaper than the dinner menu. My favorite item on the menu is the Molcajete, which my dear husband and I usually share. If you are in the mood for tacos and burritos, go to Habanero's, but when you want a little something with more flavor, try La Playa.

From the makers of Quigley's Pint and Plate, this restaurant is hidden among the oak tress in the Hammock Shops of Pawleys Island. If you are craving a great burger or something different, this place is where to go. They have many creations of burgers and shakes, lots of healthy choices, gluten free items, vegetarian items, and an anytime breakfast menu. The food is great and the atmosphere is very laid back. We have frequented this place not only because of the food and beverage menu - shakes, spiked shakes, and adult beverages, but because it is a great place to gather and meet new people as well as pretend you are a tourist for a few hours. Price range is $7-14 dollars. Great place to relax.

I personally have never eaten here, but have always wanted to. It is ranked #1 on trulia and has received the award of excellence 2014 on trulia as well. It seems like people go here for special occasions and food reviews are very good. Let me know how you like it, as I am a foodie and would like the opportunity to try this outstanding cuisine.
Prime (formerly Nosh) - Located in the Hammock Shops Village (843) 314-9014
View website here Nosh is tucked away among the oak trees, in a great and historical building. It is a unique and artful dining experience. Their Sunday brunch is exceptional along with their beautiful bloody mary bar. They now have a new chef, and he is wonderful about using organic and local flavors. If you want to take the time to have a fine dining experience, this may be the place. They also have great live entertainment on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

This is a wonderful dining experience with great food. Dining fare includes local seafood, prime rib, steaks, and a great wine and beer selection. This is a place to meet friends for a nice dinner or night out with your loved ones. Kids are always welcome, but this is more of an elegant experience. Cloth napkins and all!
